Corn Totillas - Guest - 07-14-2011 Any one have a source for some good ones ? mahalo, pog edit: Eyes getting worse >>> ToRtillas RE: Corn Totillas - csgray - 07-14-2011 The burrito place in Shipman makes them. First left, then on your left next to the tofu factory. Their food is good too, except the nachos that use 7-11 style melted plastic cheese. RE: Corn Totillas - pslamont - 07-14-2011 Actually, they like you to drive around back and go in that way. We used to just walk thru the restaurant. You can buy regular store type packs or get a BIG 5 inch tall... maybe 1/2 kilo? They are awesome/ I want to be the kind of woman that, when my feet hit the floor each morning, the devil says "Oh Crap, She's up!" RE: Corn Totillas - mary - 07-19-2011 i bought a tortilla press from amazon for 20 bucks, 8 inch diameter, then bought a big bag of corn flower from island naturals and make my own. to corn flower add a little water and salt and make my own for a fraction of what it costs to buy them anywhere, especially it seems on this island anything revolving around bread seems to taste lousy and be expensive. mine come out really tasty, no hydrogenated oils like they tend to put in all tortillas these days. |
