help for broken garage door - Lin W - 07-31-2011

I have a small workshop/storage area built into the side of my carport. It has a very old single-car, fiberglass, sectional overhead garage door, which has broken; looks like a cable and/or spring snapped. I managed to lift it about halfway and prop it with a tiki torch so I have access, but so do the feral cats and chickens - what a mess! I have no idea where to start looking so would appreciate any suggestions for a really good repair person or company for this type of door. Mahalo!

blessed are the cracked for they let in the light

Handy Jim Dandy repair man.

If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it cost when it’s free...now here come the taxes.....

Also, Doug Gad @ 987 0035 is a garage door specialist here in Orchidland. We are using him for our solar gate and he is very honest and knowledgeable....not to take anything way from Jim Dandy, but he is a rep for garage door opener companies. Good luck!
