first half of property tax due today - Bullwinkle - 08-22-2011 https://payments.ehawaii.gov/propertytax/hawaii/search.html in case you spaced it like I almost did..... RE: first half of property tax due today - sittall - 08-22-2011 Thanks, I needed that reminder! Just paid on-line. RE: first half of property tax due today - hereonearth - 08-22-2011 I used to never forget these things. Thank you very much for posting this and including the link! I had stuffed the bill on my bulletin board and forgot all about it. RE: first half of property tax due today - kimo wires - 08-22-2011 I paid online last year. Won't do that again. 3rd party vendor, for lack of a better name, messed up the payment. I was overcharged and they actually made the payment late so I incured late fees. Was a big hassle to fix. Maybe they've fixed their problems but won't take a chance again. RE: first half of property tax due today - ericlp - 08-22-2011 yeah... The online payment thing is the worst I've ever seen. I also paid the entire year (not because of an incentive to do so) but just so I wouldn't have to pay it again. All the states I've been in gave you a small kickback if you payed on time. I've been in 4 states and hawaii is the worst of the bunch. I guess they just take it for granted that their customers (us the tax payers) should be #1 of importance but instead get treated like second rate. Tho, the lovely warnings that if you screw up on the account or routing numbers will inquire a late fee and a 20.00 return check fee was pretty sad. Thats the price of living in paradise I guess. RE: first half of property tax due today - EightFingers - 08-23-2011 We send in a check - it would cost us an *extra* $60.00 to pay it online. Why does the county split up the property tax like that? |
