cover crops - mary - 09-02-2011 would anyone kindly let me know if there is a nursery/place on BI where i can buy cover crop seed by the pound such as perennial peanut, buckwheat ext., at a descent price? thank you in advance. RE: cover crops - Rene Siracusa - 09-03-2011 I bought a bag of raw peanuts, priced by the pound, at Malama Market. They are on the rack next to the back door (between produce and yoghurt). I don't remember the price, but they all sprouted. You may find buckwheat at health food stores. If not, ask a local store to order it for you. RE: cover crops - lquade - 09-03-2011 mary, type in perennial peanut in search on craigs list, some people in kapoho sell it by the pound, as i remember 5 bucks, that covers alot of ground....
