"A member of one of Hawaii's most popular musical groups has pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles County Superior Court to sex crime charges involving two underage girls in the late 1990s, officials said Thursday."

I believe he had a charge here in Hawaii in 1984 but it was dismissed due to a no contest plea and not getting into more trouble within a certain amount of time. They have changed the law sense then.
