Cheap, but good, Dial-Up Internet - InLeilani - 08-08-2005 If you're still using a dial-up internet service provider, I'd like to share with you one I've been using for 5 years that costs $8.25/month! Never have I had to a busy signal or had to call Tech Support! If interested, email me and I'll tell you all about it. RE: Cheap, but good, Dial-Up Internet - David M - 08-08-2005 OK, I'm confused. If such a deal why not just post the info? Why the intrigue?. David RE: Cheap, but good, Dial-Up Internet - punagirl - 08-09-2005 David - I think you have to call because it is a sales pitch. I am guessing the poster makes money when you sign up. Is anybody still on dial up? Atlanta/Pahoa RE: Cheap, but good, Dial-Up Internet - Michelle - 08-09-2005 Yes in many parts of puna dial up is all thats there. I have found 2 wireless providers who are interested in expanding into puna and say they will soon, that was 6 months ago and stll nothing. Maybe if more people called they might do something about rural puna area. Michelle in FF RE: Cheap, but good, Dial-Up Internet - InLeilani - 08-09-2005 Sorry David, I'm new at this and didn't check for replies. No intrigue at all, it's just the best dial-up service I've ever used. You can check it out at www.copper.net and their charges are only $8.25/mo 'if you prepay one year'. If you choose not to prepay a year, then you pay $9.95/mo. Still a really good price. I don't think you'll be disappointed, and NO I don't get anything out of this. Imma just tryin' to share and be helpful! RE: Cheap, but good, Dial-Up Internet - adias - 08-17-2005 Hello, Is DSL/Broadband avaiable anywhere in Puna? (need it for work) Thanks Ajit Ajit RE: Cheap, but good, Dial-Up Internet - jdirgo - 08-18-2005 There are areas with broadband or DSL. Its pretty variable though. My house in Nanawale has it, some parts of HPP and Orchidland do (but not all). Same with Leilani. Most of Hawaiian Beaches/Shores does (but again -- not all). You really have to check the individual neighborhood to find out. |
