Fart Face - ishkabibble - 12-09-2011

Here is some thing of interest. The former President of Hawaiian Shores Community Association (HSCA) T.R., better known a HSCA Watchdog was doing a servey on DA ROC COALITION (small group of members of HSCA) FACE BOOK. Servey question.

What would you do if you host sat with you for a few minutes and then decided to get up and leave the room and didn't bother to tell you they were not going to return. Would you,
A) I'd say "that is a fine how do you do" then I would get up and FART IN HER FACE
B) Question Social Graces
C) Wonder why I was invited

This is referring to a special BOD meeting held on Nov 17,2011. The President of the Board ask the members to hold all comments until the BOD were done debating a motion. Some members started shouting and throwing paper balls at the BOD. The President ask again, the members did not stop. The President adjourn the meeting after 13 minutes and went into the office for executive session. Watchdog is very good at twisting things around to make the BOD look bad to her follower. Watchdog lost her Board seat as President in 2011. She resign from the BOD because she was no longer in controll. She has bad mouth the BOD for every thing they do, this servey is one of them. Watchdog knows she can not get elected so she is trying to get the members of daaa roc coalition elected so they can appoint her some were down the line. The old make the BOD life h*** so they will resign trick. Just my opinion. I would like to know what you think. Would you want a person like this who thinks it's OK to fart in members faces and accuse them of social graces, then do a servey on face book to see how many members would like to do the same?
FYI, I have a copy of the post.
Thank you for your input
Aloha

I think it takes a big dog to weigh 100 pounds.

I think its time to do away with the board and president entirely. Run the HSCA like a utility, handle political issues once a year with a mail in direct democracy vote. This is not a large enough community for this kind of BS politics. Nobody cares about the politics except for the two factions fighting for control of the board. I still think the speed bumps are BS as well and hope the people living off of coastal puna have figured out that the presidents intention was to divert traffic into their neighborhood. Leave everyone alone, no more stupid needless rules, no more spending money that does not need to be spent for utility purposes, no more stupid politics that less then 10% of the community is involved in. The current board and president are spending money like we aren't in recession, im sure the other party would do the same if they got control. How do you stop the spending? Eliminate the board, they can take their speed bumps with them when they go.

afwjam says:
"Run the HSCA like a utility"

Question; Who wold run the utility? Who would put together the annual mail out?, determine issues to vote on?, handle funds?.... Would the "utility" managers be elected or appointed?

I'm busy but would do it for $40,000/year and be completely unaffiliated with either side.

Keep the staff we have now, maybe give them a raise. Eliminate all the political positions.
Can you imagine? Water at the bare minimum cost, repairs made when they need to be, no extra stupid rules being added to appease 4 people. No useless parks, speed bumps, board meetings, elections.....
