Excellent article - thanks, Bullwinkle. I was a history major, specializing in WWI/WWII -- most of which I've long forgotten), studied under Gordon Prange (Tora Tora Tora) -- but now that I live in Hawaii, it gives it new perspective. Love the graphics on this piece.

adding: (Tora Tora Tora...) AND "At Dawn We Slept" possibly the best book on Pearl Harbor ever written. Prange interviewed both US and Japanese participants after the war during US occupation of Japan.
