when the bitchy alpha cat has stopped hissing at the lowly beta cat, and is deigning to cuddle up with her for body warmth.
Outside -- the new bamboo culms and the banana stalks are falling over because the ground is mush. I am thinking water hyacinth would work as ground cover.
