If this goes through, the Hawaii Volcano National Park is included.
The Federal government has been handing huge chunks of American land over to United Nations control, including Yellowstone National Park, Mammoth Caves, the Florida Everglades, and even the Statue of Liberty. A whopping 68% of US National Parks have been handed over to the UN. Designated as "World Heritage Sites", these National Treasures are now fully under the control of The United Nations.

I appreciate your intentions whaley, but don't see any documentation of this being true. In fact it seems to be an attempt to make someone some money. It's true I was born at night, but not last night.
In fact if you visit your link you won't find much information about "Agenda 21", but you will find that for only $79.00 they will send a fax to all the Governors and Legislators in the country.
Sounds steep, but for the activist on a budget they offer to send a fax to all 50 Governors for a mere $19.00.
Tell you what; send me $10.00 and I'll call Fred Blas and Billy Kenoi!

This is not new news, nor is it quite what the original poster suggests.
This is all about the 1997 act to create International Biosphere Reserve & World Heritage Sites. Volcanoes National Park IS (& has been for a while) designated as such, so I do not know what the fuss is all about....

Any time I see something about how the evil United Nations is hurtling us poor unsuspecting masses into world domination, one step at at time (in this case by taking control of -- gasp! -- our national parks!), I have to laugh out loud. It's bull twaddle. The UN does not, nor can it, control U.S. assets. Them right-wing conspiracy theorists is smokin' a big ol' doobie of fear-mongering. Google "Agenda 21" and you get all kinds of conspiracy rot. (Glenn Beck, apparently, is one of those whack-jobs who espouses the theory that Agenda 21 is a ruse the UN has conjured up as one step toward a new world order.) What you don't get is a bonafide news organization even MENTIONING it. Again: HA HA HA HA Now the Illuminati, those guys you gotta watch out for.

I think we should give Hui Hanalike Park to the United Nations -- that is, if anyone can find Hui Hanalike Park. I would like it if they would station Dutch or Italian troops there, or perhaps Swedish ones. As for Puna, I suggest we give it and New Orleans to the French. They would improve the public schools within a year and would support local farmers, agriculture and farmer's markets.
The most important thing is that we outsource U.S. states, territories and possessions to a competent country or entity as quickly as possible.

The UNESCO plaque and the UN Biodome plaque are both visibly placed. This is very old news.
