New "Sports Authority" coming to Hilo - macuu222 - 02-03-2012
Don't know if everyone knows this or not (I didn't until I walked into Prince Kuhio Plaza) that Sports Authority will be opening in May in Prince Kuhio Plaza where Woolworths use to be across from the movie theater. Now all we need is Petco and Cosco and I'll be happy.

I'm with you on Petco. Sports Authority is good source for shoes btw. They carry Merrill's and Candies and Teva.

Im hoping they sell Brooks. It's my favorite running shoe and no one here sells it.

Great - now if "Tractor Supply Company" goes in the old Safeway building we'll really have good reason to shop at Prince Kahio Plaza.

Shoes.com and zappos both have Brooks, and at least one of them has a free delivery and free return shipping for shoes that don't fit. I hesitated to buy shoes online but was pleasantly surprised. I wore Brooks for years, they are great for people with plantars fasciatis. Does anyone know where to get custom orthotics fitted here?

A friend just bought some special custom fit shoes from Shiigi Drugs, 333 Kilauea, for $300+! You might try them.
