Actually semi-serious about the "small big box", seems like more and more often the shelves are EMPTY. Either the shipping is broken, or the store is too small, and neither bodes well...
Agree that online ordering needs to be "fixed", too often it's several times the cost of the item. Flash for camera: $8, shipping: $45.
"Buy local"? Sure. Except that computerized inventory means they're only going to stock the highest-turnover items, and if you need something different, well, back to Amazon...
