It is not right that the State Elections Office has decided to hold the election at one polling place on Friday after they said the voters would be mailed ballots and have time to decide. I've read that voters won't have access to mail ballots anyway but since most of us get mail at a PO Box that's not true especially since all roads will probably be cleared by next week-not Friday! I believe there are still many people who want to vote but don't know about the Friday election or are too busy just staying to survive to vote. Many still don't have access.
The State law allows voters to file a formal complaint with the State Supreme Court. It takes 30 voters to file the complaint. I'm willing to write the complaint and pay any fees for filing with court.
Anyway else out there upset enough that once again Oahu officials are ignoring the needs of Puna? If you want to sign the complaint email me at zeuspool88@yahoo.com.
Let's represent those voters that still don't have access, electricity, phones and internet.
