I got a package of goodies in the mail from my sister in Oregon yesterday, it was full of fire ants. This was at the Beachlots.

I had something similar happen; FedEx left a box on my lanai; a container of candied nuts had burst inside, and in the couple of hours before I got home, the ants had invaded.

Of course, yours might have been infested from the same source as the ants in the HPP mailboxes...
