Does anyone know what documents are needed to change the address of one's Hawaii driver license?
I went here:
https://www.hawaiicounty.gov/departments...se-address
and it says you need to provide acceptable documentation that is listed via this link:

"404 — File not found."

If you have already jumped through all the hoops for the new Gold Star secure ID you have to provide all the same things.

Thanks, Obie. I think I have most if not all of the documentation I need, but now it will depend on the opinion of the DMV as to how valid a document is. For instance, is a printout of a contract that is signed online using DocuSign valid or not? Note that the article you quote (thank you!) says some things have to be original documents but doesn't mention that others need to be original. So I will bet that I'll only find out when I show the documents to the bead counter.

Anecdotal: Pahoa DMV is more forgiving than Hilo.
Personal experience: Hilo DMV told me I had an out-of-state hold (which I didn't) and that I needed to get my vehicle weighed (they had never seen a Tacoma before... right).
Passport card is infinitely more convenient (laminated, fits in wallet) than carrying a birth certificate.

Thanks, kalakoa, I'll likely try the Pahoa office given the experience I had last time at the Hilo office.
