Someone was just asking me how to find out if folks are registered and such. She had relied on word of mouth and found a less than desirable bulldozer fellow. How does one access the "DCCA" records and what is "DCCA"?

Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) regulates all industries with licensing requirements. The Regulated Industries Complaints Office (RICO) handles complaints for DCCA. Check http://www.hawaii.gov/dcca/quicklinks/on...ss_online/ for more info and complaints history on anyone.
