If there was extra space in a container what would be good to fill it up with.
I do woodworking, and have access to Oak, Walnut, Birch, and Ash lumber. But is there anything else of value that could be aquired that is really needed or hard to get affordably we should think about?[:p]

A really good generator. We had to go to multiple places to find one. Sears, only 1 in stock in the clearance section (used) for $600.00 + ,Home Depot only had 1 big generator for 1,000.00+. HPM had stock but very expensive. O'Reilly only had a 1000HP for $199.00.
We finally found a mid range generator at Del's Farm Supply. We bought a 3500HP for 399.00 + tax.
I would bring lots of tools.

Some have offered their extra container space (up to you to figure the cubic ft $....) for those wanting to ship (rather than trying to anticipate what the market wants here). I have seen space available offers both here & on craigslist.... It really helps to know up front the shipping time frame - esp helps if you have a staging area for others to use [& I would add in mainland loading charge], port & costs for those that may want to ship. We have paid for shipping space once, and it did work out well for us...

I know someone who made a nice profit on her containers, including shipping her stuff for free, by shipping copper wire, copper pipes, and pre ordered appliances from Oregon that were delivered to her container by the appliance seller, packed in the factory boxes. The fact that Oregon has no sales tax helped too by 6 to 10%.
