Studs w/ green ends from Argus

Had some studs delivered from Argus, and though they are supposed to be hi-bor treated, both ends appear to be dipped or painted dark green. Is this just color coding or additional waterproofing, or did I get studs with a copper based treatment?


I'm going studs with exterior sheathing only, so don't want CCA or something exposed to the inside...

Argus sells 2 different treated lumber types, as is reported on their website, exterior CA-C treated lumber & interior HiBor...
Check your receipt...every time we have purchased C-C treated it is at a higher cost & is listed as such:
