Good news right now is that we don't have any threatening storms in the near future. There are two areas of disturbance in the NE Pacific but the nearest one seems to have no chance of forming a tropical cyclone and the other, farther to the east, is more of a threat to Baja as it'll likely move north-westwards. It's good to get a bit of a break.

Yeah but looks like soppy Paul isn't going to pass Puna without causing some trouble after all. So many areas just need drying out and there is a forecast for leftover rain from that system to reach us by tomorrow, Tuesday, and Oahu by Wednesday. That is according to KITV weather forecast.
