I vaguely recall receiving a postcard reminding me to update my signature for mail-in voting. (That's one of the things they check when you send in your ballot to make sure it's really you.) I'm sure things will be crazy come August/November, so might be a good idea to take care of it now!

This has brought up questions about mail-in registrations.
We did participate in the mail-in voting in previous years.
Has the 2020 primary already been held?
We have not received anything for participation in this.
If we weren't registered for that one, we'll probably not be in the November general.
Who do we contact to verify our mail-in registrations?

OK, I got it checked out.
I was worried because we were forced to evacuate during the eruption, subsequently had to vote at the regular poll location last year.
Hawaii County Elections Office [961-8277] was able to confirm our being part of the mail-in voting process.

Yeah it was just the Democratic Party that had a pointless mail-in so far.
