I have a male cat I need to get fixed and I can't find any place that has openings and the cost is over $500.00.

Not sure about males, but aren't there groups that do females for free or almost free?

Rainbow Friends runs free S/N events. Their last ones were back in May. Not sure when the next one will be as they are currently having to relocate due to eviction. Needless to say, they are in need of foster homes and other volunteer help.
