Loretta Swit R.I.P.
#1
Loretta Swit has died.  Most of us probably know of her from the long running TV series M*A*S*H.  Before that, she was in an episode of Hawaii 5-0.

The other Hot Lips Houlihan, Sally Kellerman, died around 3 years ago. Nowadays, men would be slapped over the head for daring to call a woman, Hot Lips.

One of Loretta Swit's lesser known roles was the POTUS, in Whoops Apocalypse (1987). She was a talented comedic actress, humorous, not caustic, from an era when the world was far less political. It pains me that face of blondes nowadays is the likes of Karoline Leavitt.

Do you mean relevant? If you want to link things, I would discuss the Royal Navy's connection with Hawaii.

I've watched M.A.S.H. and several other sitcoms on OTA while in Puna. It's a damn shame she has gone. There was little else to watch other than the crap the other networks put out. I learned to like the Andy Griffiith show, the spin-off from that and afternoon weekend western shows. All of them had a bit of politics in them but more subtle than you might think.

But now we have a moderator who wants every post to be about Puna and Hawaii.

I asked this before and didn't receive an answer because the policy doesn't make sense. If I post something about Puna, that's fine, but if I post something about Hawaii, does it have to have a connection to Puna? What about posts discussing Mauna Kea? That's not in Puna. Most of the discussion there involves international partnerships, i.e., different countries. Can we talk about them anymore?

I have several more examples I could post, but it would be good to get clarification about how to post something about Hawaii and Puna.
