Miyos is moving
#1
[V]

Miyos has been a gathering place for my husband and I since we spent our first night talking until dawn on what we call the 'woop-de-woop bridge' there in the lagoon. The gorgeous setting and cozy atmosphere of Miyos (and the wonderful food!) helped us usher in many special dates since. So we were very sad to hear that they are moving locations. At least they aren't closing up entirely!

I heard they'll be moving to the new brown buildings on Manono Street. Anyone else heard news about this?

Well, at least the crazy cat and duck populations will likely remain behind...

Miyo's moving has been well documented in the press for months. It was also mentioned on BigIslandNow.com months ago and BIN's biz wrap mentioned the opening of Natural Beauty Spa at Manono last week. Most of my colleagues are local people in Hilo and there has been lots of conversation about Miyo's and Hawaiian Style Cafe opening for months. Lots of folks super excited to see Hawaiian Style open.
