We have a smaller electric Stiebel Eltron point of use heater that we have had for 7 years with no problem, we bought it to tide us over until we were finished (with what... who know now!), and have used it since... We have had from one person up to six using it for showers & laundry, with no problems.... but for obvious reason with our small unit, if there is more than one large draw, the water is not as hot, & if 3 people & the laundry are all wanting HOT water, they do not get much more that warm water...

I found it funny for 25 bucks they call the Chrome shower head and Stainless steel hose an upgrade to the one that leaks but looking at the L7, it comes with the upgrade... looks like this is going to be the replacement of the L5, maybe the upgraded shower head won't leak?
