Yes, they are in office by devious means. And it is easier than you think for members to remove Board members and harder for Board members to remove Board members. That is under the Open meetings laws for Home Owners Associations. Although there is some confusion as to what kind of organizations they are. They claim to be non-profit but have no IRS determination letter. That is fraud, so a reason for removal, theft is another reason for removal, and incompetence. they didn't even know that taxes have to be done. It is a bad joke with a worse punchline. The Hui isn't really a homeowners Association because lot owners "may" be members if they pay them. But that organization broke off illegally in the first place without consent or knowledge of members of FFCA. And they stole our assets, formed a private club and exclude us from our assets unless we continue to pay them. Sounds like a racket to me. On top of electoral fraud and collusion etc…
And in response to : "One venue I know that may effective in bringing people from various POA's together is the monthly Puna-wide Neighborhood watch meeting sponsored by the police. Call the non-emergency number for information. The meeting focuses on crime, but there is certainly opportunity for talk story." That is not going to happen for us because some of these crooks were part of the neighborhood watch. One of them a rich lady that stole a port potty from a burnt out house. So, who is watching the watch. And they have made so many false police reports the police will not even return our phone calls. So, I guess they are not going to help either even though they are supposed to by law.

Now for the latest BS :
Okay, yesterday was insane. We started the potluck and this person shows up to hand me legal papers and video tapes me and leaves. So, I put the papers in my truck and continue setting up. Then, of course the cops show up. Never did figure out why they were there though. They would not explain except to say that they were helping this person serve me a TRO from three people at the same time,LOL…
Evidently the person realized I wasn't served correctly,LOL and needed the police to help him. I didn't know the police did things like that. So, as this person was reading the TRO, which I want to go to Court, I had a stupid asthma attack and had to leave. I thought it was my heart at first because my chest was hurting, but turns out was an bad asthma attack. I had not been taking my asthma medication because I was supposed to go for allergy testing on the 15th and that medicine will interfere with the testing, so you have to stop taking it for two weeks before testing. They did not know this and so I was super extra sick than normal when they served the TRO so I had an asthma attack. I have had heart failure, and have heart murmur, so it was reasonable to think it my be heart with my blood pressure so high right now. So, I was sick and had to go to ER. I was so bummed. I wasn't ready to leave. I want to go to Court and didn't even to take any pics in my cool steam punk outfit I had spent all day making a couple of days before. So, I was bummed I didn't get to stay. Anyway, the icing on the cake is the court day for my TRO is on the day my allergy testing was scheduled, which had been planned for several months prior. So, now had to cancel my allergy appointment for a frivolous court case. Good news is I can take my medication again because the allergy testing is cancelled thanks to them. Now they are interfering in my health. That just crosses another line. They are going to get uglier before this is over. They will say and stop at nothing to hold on to the money they are pocketing. And the real kicker is one of the Officer's has now stated that no one can be on the lot. neither side is to be on the lot and it is because there is no insurance. What ? Under what authority without a court order can an police officer determine who can be on private property. It is a civil matter, so ? That seemed super odd. And then two people watched as that officer followed the press of the roads back to his house ? That is also very very odd. Something don't seem right here.But I will never quit, and never surrender. I am determined to do what is best for this community if it is my last dieing act. I do not care what they say about me. What matters is after I am dead and gone and there are kids playing on that lot, that is all that matters !!!

this is very interesting . Hawaiian acres association does not have liability insurance . and all property owners are at risk should an incident happen.

I wrote a letter to the police because the law says that tenants in common all have a right to posses the property equally. so, people are wondering if that cop got paid off to say that. he did use the exact words of another person who said it days before who is the board of the roads. How curious?

What kind of thinking is that you get hurt on your own property, you are essentially suing yourself. It is ridiculous, just have people sign waivers. We need to think like we are family, not start off thinking we are all gonna sue each other. What happened to the good old fashion forest I moved here for ? When we had no phones and if you needed help you called on your CB and they would come. We had to travel with a chainsaw if there was a tree in the road, just to get home. I miss those days.

We had never insurance for years and no one sued for the lot. And these people have had hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay the insurance every year and yet opt to do a 10,000 illegally un-permitted electrical job in a closed lot ?

Update for Fern Forest : We had an election on 6/27/15 and voted out the old Board, or people claiming to be the Board of the Fern Forest Community Association(FFCA). As for the Community Development Hui of Fern Forest, it dissolved and ran under the FFCA. The so-called ex-Board of the FFCA are refusing to be removed and have told us the members cannot remove the Board. What ? Last time I checked we live in America and we voted you in, so we can vote you out. Even the President of this country can be impeached. How can they even think that is okay. It defies logic. Even their illegal By-laws have a provision for members to remove the Board. That means that have not even read them and make things up as they go along. That is incompetence on a whole other level. So, at this point they get ugly. They begin to threaten people, call Child Welfare Services, County building permit office, Police, and other agencies as a form of harassment and intimidation. When that didn't work three of them went and got fraudulent TROs on me. The Police are at my house weekly for some made up allegation. I am still in Court for the TROs. One got dismissed, two more to go. Also, they had me fake arrested and released after being roughed up by Police at the election meeting after Judge Freitas told them not to. That is a blatant disregard for the Court, on top of lying under oath, which is perjury. Yes, I made a Police Commission complaint, turns out at least on of the officers was in trouble for corruption before and was transferred to our area. So, he is in trouble again. This time I want him fired. This isn't right to transfer officers found of wrong doing, they need to be fired. Also, note that one more person also got arrested during this time frame as a method to remove this person from the picture. it did not work. This person is still on board with fixing this community.

They have done more terrible things too. They went to Prosecutor's office and told them I run a meth lab and stole the fire truck,LOL
Now they are trying to say I am going to burn their houses down and poison their dogs. That is just absurd. It actually started from a rumor they started that I joined the volunteer fire department to watch their houses burn, if they should catch on fire, and not respond. My first thought was how diabolical that someone would even think like that, then I was insulted. They are just making things up to scare me off. I guess the dog poisoning was an after thought on their part. That is a recent allegation. They will say and do anything to keep their positions. The so-called ex-Pres. was even caught in possession of the stolen neighborhoodwatch signs after accusing me of stealing them. What a bunch of clowns. If it wasn't so tragic, it would be funny. Most people would step down out of embarrassment, not these guys. That tells me they must be getting a lot of money off us. Why else would you have such a death grip on everything. It isn't normal.

Further, when all of that didn't work the death threats began. No one has threatened me directly, but others have been threatened directly and are afraid of these people. This is why they have been able to operate all these years. This is like something out of a bad spy novel, including meeting with confidential informants who refuse to give us their names. They are clearly afraid of these people and have stressed our lives are in danger. I do not live my life in fear, but will be cautious. This does not deter me from my mission to get justice for this community.

We are currently seeking an attorney to take this to Court. We are going to take this all the way if necessary. This community is tired of the tyranny and oppression. Other communities can do the same too. In the declaration of independence it states that it is our duty as citizens to root out corrupt government and replace it with a just one. That is what we are doing. I get many people thanking me for my efforts and I let them know I can not do this alone. It takes all of us working together to get this done, and it feels so good to have the community supporting those of us who have put our faces out there to be cannon fodder for these evil people. It will all be worth it in the end when the community lot is back open and children can again play there and use the property for a school bus stop, among other many activities the community has missed for the past 5 years.
