Mr NG, one of the most gorgeous views of the night sky I saw was north of Hilo. I was driving back from Kona late at night after picking up Pam, and stopped at a viewpoint near Laupahoehoe. No moon, no clouds, just a view of the ocean and the milky way. I'll never forget it.
