I am trying to obtain a plot plan for our property in OrchidLand to prepare for an architectural drawing. How do I go about that? The person at the phone line for the permitting desk said they don’t provide PDF of the plot plan and you have to show up in person? I am not on the island and would need some other way to achieve that. Mahalo

The country’s record keeping seems incredibly sketchy. And you need to find pins anyways, so Getting something from a surveyor might be a better option

Plats are online. You need to know your zone/section; this is the same as the prefix part of a hyphenated address. Orchidland is 1 6.

The -000 map is an overview, use that to find the page, download that page. Maps are high-resolution TIFF. Many subdivisions have a "reference" lot with measurements, not always on the same page as the lot you want.
Orchidland lots are non-orthogonal, meaning there are different sizes, tending to "square-ish" at the corners and "spaghetti-ish" in the middle.
