Monty Python's ‘Spamalot’ kicks off tonight at Aloha Theatre
#1
For those willing to clack those coconuts together to get over to Kona-side sometime during the next three weekends.

https://www.westhawaiitoday.com/2026/02/...a-theatre/
"The Aloha Performing Arts Company proudly presents “Monty Python’s Spamalot,” the outrageously funny, Tony Award-winning musical that skewers the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

Performances run tonight through March 8 at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu."

"We went all out with this one and have put together one of the largest productions the theatre has seen in a long time. Over 200 costumes, an 11 piece orchestra, massive set, special effects and one dedicated cast and crew.

If you like Minty Python and the Holy Grail it's a must see. If you've never seen this, it is a must see. If you hate Monty Python I think this will still win you over. I've done six shows at the Aloha and this has been the most fun I've had.

Friday and Saturday @ 7:30
Sunday @ 2:30

Feb 20th - Mar 8th

Probably not for you - has God in it and metaphors for finding the best in yourself and others, "you stupid tit"!

I don't know if that was aimed at me, but I loved it. I hadn't seen it before, but the incredulity of a god having an argument with a mere mortal is classic Monty Python. God, uttering "jeeze" in frustration makes it even better.

Has Monty Python, an appearance from God, and being called a "stupid tit" and you don't know if the message is for you? Jesus indeed, talk about oblivious... I'll include the subsequent scene below from back when Curry and Cleese were running the show and see if they can help you to find the "grail inside you". (wouldn't an UK education have been required to include the Arthurian myth, The Once and Future King and all that? Seriously can't comprehend how you don't understand, or pretend to not understand, the role of myth, particularly this myth with all its religious & political implications, given its centrality to your entire historical heritage...)

But hey - always a chance to make up for missed educational opportunities. The first weekend of performances at the Aloha Theater went swimmingly I've heard - two more weekends of shows still available!

I don't understand your question. It makes no sense.

How about you parse

"Has Monty Python, an appearance from God, and being called a "stupid tit" and you don't know if the message is for you?"?

Maybe that sentence makes sense in your and ironyak's world, but it doesn't in mine.

Priceless indeed - absurdist Tomfoolery. Reminds me of that trip to the local Puna pet store:

"Yo brah, dis parrot is pau."

"Nah, braddah stay napping eh?"

"No rip one nap - da buggah stay broke."

"Try wait, he wen move!"

"What, you like beef? Faka no stay, pau, all ova, make - no act hupo, brah!"
