Obie - So thanks to HOTPE I'm going to try Biore sunscreen .
Good luck Obie - going to end up like HOTPE and dying after you use it (although you may die before using it, and will certainly die if you don't use it - such is the nature of things. But in using it, you'll at least be less likely to die from the DNA damage caused by radiation being spewed from the uncontrolled nuclear fusion going on overhead ;)
Tang - Thanks to Edge I found a Biore potion with a Cat's paw motif,
Fun find - not a bemotrizinol sunscreen, but rather a mineral formulation (ingredients here) that gets applied as paw prints before being rubbed in. Kawaii desu ne? ₍^. .^₎⟆
Kodomoyō no kagaku busshitsu wa ii desu. (Roughly - "Chemical substances for children are good" or "It is fine for children to be exposed to chemical substances")
Some, yes. For instance, phylloquinone and menaquinone are Vitamin K compounds that prevent severe bleeding and death in newborns. Meanwhile, quinolizidine alkaloids like mamanine and pohakuline are all organic, natural, and fit Olohana's requirements of being "endemic/indigenous chit", but are fatal to kids and most animals outside of the Palila bird and some caterpillers, which consumes them in the seeds of the local Māmane trees.
Chemicals - can't live with some, can't live without others! (Kagaku wa fukuzatsuda desu ne? Gambatte!)
