Victor Beardsley's widow, Marylou, would like to invite the public to his memorial service this Sunday Oct. 17 at 1:00 p.m., at Pu'ula Congregational Church (Kehau and Church Roads in Nanawale).
As you probably know, Vic was Santa Claus for 18 years in our local Puna Christmas parades. This year 2010 he was recognized by the Hawaii County Office of Aging for their "Outstanding Older American Award". He has also done fundraising for Puna Community Medical Center.
Vic was 80 years old and passed away in late July while the couple visited family in New York. Marylou is now back at home in Hawaii and invites you all to celebrate her late husband this coming Sunday at his memorial service.
