Growing organic tomatoes
#11
Build your raised bed so that it is around four feet high. You back will thank you and you'll be able to observe the bugs on your plants much easier.

Hamakua Farms tomato production, before they recently decided to stop growing them. Some really great ideas though in the video.

Try growing the little ones. We get the ones we like at Farmer's Market, and toss them around the yard. It's amazing how many come up

We had a crop decimated by black mold just as they were starting to redden. Moist leaves seems to be the culprit. We erected a roof of plastic sheeting (lasts a year or two) which kept the rain off the plants. Got a good harvest of several vrieties. My tomato sensei also recommended a diluted spray of Soap, Baking soda and Volck oil as a mold preventative.
