2024 Hawaii County Election
#1
Here’s a few comments from Hawaii Public Radio about the upcoming election:

2. County charter amendments recap
Hawaiʻi Island: Three questions related to council member vacancies, department head appointments, and the Cost of Government Commission.

Constitutional: All Hawaiʻi residents will have the chance to weigh in on two constitutional amendment questions related to marriage equality and judicial appointments.

Pro tip: At this point, it’s a little iffy that your ballot will make it to the elections office by Election Day. So why chance it? Drop it in a ballot box or visit a voter center. For more 2024 Hawaiʻi election coverage, visit hawaiipublicradio.org/vote.

There are ballot drop boxes at the Pahoa Police Station and Keaau Police Station.

I feel better knowing that even highly paid PW staff are not able to master the HTML quirks on this site.  Thanks 2.

ETA: For the record Moderator 2 repaired the HTML issues in his or her post and made no note of that in the edit comments.
I wish you all the best.

Note that not voting on an amendment equals voting "No".
