Asian Blanket???

I am looking for the name of a shrub. When I asked a man on the street he thought it was "Asian Blanket", but when I Google that name I can not find.

So - it is a maroon leaf with lighter red edges. With that little information can anyone give me another name on which to search?

Susan, when you wrote maroon leaf with lighter red edges I thought about the shrubs I saw being planted at the grand wailea around one of their Boteros. I asked the gardener what the name was, he said acalypha.
