This goes out to those of you who have taken out a mortgage with American Savings Bank.

Was your experience a good one?

I had several clients getting loans from them and it always took an extra long time to close, but we always closed. Just be patient and make sure you have at least 60 days in your contract with a 30 day extension.

I have 2 refinanced (2004) mortgages with ASB and they were fine to deal with from the mainland. There were some snafus since then with insurance/escrow issues and I had no problem clearing them up.
