We use orange oil in a spray bottle for indoor pest control, active ingredient is d-limonene. I guess we're out at the moment, I can't find a bottle - if I recall correctly, other ingredients were solvent base like water or alcohol.
Seems to kill and repel roaches as well as chrysanthemum extract did (pyrethrum / permethin), and is slightly less noxious.
Banning orange oil while permitting all the crap in the gardening / pest aisle in Home Depot is just insane, in my opinion.
Edit: found the bottle, 5.8% d-limonene, rest is non-specified "inert ingredients." Seems like more water/alcohol than the permethin based stuff, which seemed more like kerosene.
