HPP Board 2014
"Your group is the one who consistently challenges the board at board and general meetings in a disruptive and disrespectful way. Your group is also disrespecting innocent lot owners who've taken their time to attend meetings to get informed and can't. This has caused a very negative atmosphere for all of us."

"Your group has taken your actions to a whole other level that is mean and vindictive in the name of supporting your terminated employee friends. What does this say about the character of the terminated employees who must be supporting your group's bad behavior to include disrespect towards other association members? You guys need to get a grip and stop this nonsense. This dispute is between them and some of the new board. Leave it up to them to duke it out and stop ruining HPP's name in public."

Exactly how I feel as well.... sigh...

Dear anonymousland guy;

Please stop referring to James Weatherford as being unethical. Agree or disagree with him, he may be the most ethical person on this forum.

If it were your situation, what would you do? Ethically tell your partner what to say?

I never said I was ethical; I said James was.

patting himself on the back over and over for being ethical when he knew he was deceiving us by speaking at the meetings when the only folks who should be speaking are members.

Sativa had better get on this one.

I fail to see how the spouse of an owner, who lives on their HPP property with his wife, loses a voice at the HPPOA meetings. I would guess that hundreds of other residents of HPP are in the same position.
Assume the best and ask questions.

If JW is married to E, whose name is on the deed, and not his, wouldn't he have the right to such properties just because they are married? I think that by law he is entitled to 50 %, unless E purchased such properties before their marriage. If such properties were acquired while married then JW is entitled by law to speak at the meetings.

HPPOA By-Laws Article VI - section 1 - Types of membership.

(a) Members - Lot owners of record...first 5 words of this section are clear to me. I can provide the section in total if required Rob. By-laws can be amended but to date this is what it is.

Marriage is a partnership last I heard.
