Knee jerk HPP board defenders' thread
#1
The rest of us would like to be able to discuss a wide a variety HPP related issues without having knee jerk defenders of the current board take over the discussion, call people names, and make unfounded assumptions about people's off line identities, so I created this thread for all the knee jerk board defenders to have their own private playpen.

Enjoy each other's company.

What about residents of the other subdivisions?

I get the impression that the boards of other subdivisions don't have any defenders, knee jerk or otherwise.

I am in another subdivision . HPP is not alone in the "big Brawl", among the lot owners . Hawaiian Acres has its own messy issues going on . there are people who defend the current board members and there are many against the board . everybody should have the right to speak up.

aren't board members elected in all subdivisions where there is an association? if you don't like them vote them out?
having served on the "board" in an other subdivision for eight years, I found out most of the complainers didn't pay their dues or contribute/volunteer to the subdivision to make it better.

Virtually all of this board has now been appointed, not elected, by as few as 3 elected board members. There are probably as many reasons for resigning from this board as there have been resignations, but it is a long time until the next election for people to wait to have actually elected members of the HPPOA, instead of members appointed by a tiny handful of the board, this may be a big part of why so many people still distrust this board at this time.
