With Tourism, beaches, sunshine, shopping, food, great coffee...AND WEED? Hawaii would kill it. 40 mil oregon would be 100 mil Hawaii. The problem is....politicians are hell bent on making money for a few fat people. That is why I have always stood by my claim: Green harvest will continue. The state has a vested interest in making sure their friends who were awarded dispensary licenses succeed. Small backyard growers will be fine....5-10 plants. Anything above 30? do expect a visit.

Why stop at weed? A couple of casinos would make a killing from the tourists.

Only from the tourists? Vegas must be the #1 destination for Hawaiians based on the advertisements, and I'm sure if people could skip the plane and gamble at home they would do just that.

Instead of making money with legal gambling, the state prefers to expend money trying to stop illegal gambling. Meanwhile, the gambling continues.
It's almost like prohibition has been proven never to work over and over and over again. I must be missing something.

Lower taxes.
Due to the way our state and county are managed. Some might say mismanaged.

No to gambling. Yes to weed.
Really, there is no comparison.

Agreed. Why not keep our money from leaving the state?
