Update: The market has been open every Saturday from 10am to 3pm on the Hawaiian Acres community center lawn. Lots of vendors and you can buy your produce there for the week!
Located at 8&C roads, or 16-1325 Moho Rd for all you GPS types
I'm really proud of my community!
Original Post:
Looks like the HA market is finally starting up again, from the hawaiianacres.org website:
quote: There will be a Hawaiian Acres Farmers Market today (Nov 12) from noon til 3pm at the community center (8&C). Please support our local farmers and artisans! New vendors are welcome, and this is the perfect time to stop by and talk story.
The fine print: No fees, but vendors must register with the market manager as spots are limited. Please park parallel in front of the center, or park in the paved or gravel lots behind the center. No parking across the street, as that is someone else's private property. Mahalo!

Thanks for reminding people randomq. [ ]
I stopped and supported, buying some delicious pumpkin bread. It's so nice to see the Community Center being used as it is titled. A friendly place where we residents can get together and buy, sell and trade our local produce, goods, belongings and services.

Been busy, forgot to post my 'review'
I was pleasantly surprised by the number of vendors (10?) and their variety. Actual farmer's market stuff like avocados, citrus, coconuts, honey, and other produce and plants. Also some baked goods, preserved food, and even hot food (wontons!)
Miki (the nice lady that puts on the potluck earlier on Saturdays) had a donated clothing table, and other folks were selling jewelry, clothing, house goods, crafts, etc.
Next market is tomorrow (Saturday) 12-3. All punatics should come put money into my community! I don't have a booth (yet).

There's a donation table in the community center that always has a few articles of clothing. I'm downsizing too and have left some stuff there.

Wow, today started off drizzling, but the sun has come out and there are a bunch of vendors here, more than I have seen before! Hot Puna grown coffee, hot food, lots of fruit, veg, herbs, and collectibles!
Come down and enjoy now until 3pm!
