What's up with the low flying helicopter?
#21
Any news on one of Puna's best MMJ activists Mike Ruggles or his pending lawsuits?

Still not sure why the police were allowed to forge a DR's signature or charge Mr Ruggles with so many counts when he was arrested a few years back.
This was a pretty good past article about Hawaii's MMJ patients and it included Mr Ruggles story.

This is how the compliance checks go here in Puna, notice the low flying helicopters and the different agencies involved.

This was one of the suits i was referring to.

The states MMJ dispensaries may have this little hurdle in front of them still. jmo

It's all the same old. Hawaii isn't getting dispensaries, but it makes a great excuse to collect license fees. Meanwhile: legal in CO, WA, OR, NV, DC, soon to be legal in CA and Canada....

Folks need to remember, these are FEDERAL DEA funds that "must be spent." Law enforcement agencies go after thee grants each year because if you choose not to, then you will never again qualify for these funds. And of course they will write to qualify-- who gonna pass up free money? The good thing is that these monies aren't from a bottomless pot. Unlike Green Harvest operations of past lore, these helicopter visits are actually quite brief. Most of the time, they are simply cruising....burning fuel so to speak.....spending the grant. So the next time you want to call Harry Kim, Mitch Roth, or the DLNR or that matter, understand that these helicopters simply represent a nice little (overtime) payday for a few privileged members of the shield courtesy of Uncle Sam. Yes, they are invasive as F*** and should stop. But they won't. And now the current AG Sessions indicate that there will be more opportunities to purchase harleys, go to vegas, or buy some jewelry for mistresses of those privileged members of the shield. Hide your plants.

If it's just for the grant money, let's suggest they go look for secret grow ops along some remote part of saddle road.

2liveque has totally nailed it. AG Sessions said 2 weeks ago that the feds are going after pot, saying there's no such thing as medical marijuana. And the new fiscal year just started. So Roth et al wanna make sure to justify future monies from the feds...

I have a friend who was removing an invasive weed from his pastures with a few friends. Green harvest flies over and sees them stuffing green plants into garbage bags and shortly after white vans start showing up on property. It was a big misunderstanding but they did storm his property without a warrant. Once they realized what happened they apologized and left.
