Looking for a reliable, experienced and available drywall finisher to tape and float my living room, bathroom and hallway.
This is probably 3-4 days work.
I responded to an ad in one of the Big Island groups. Thought we had a deal. He begged off with a Dr appointment yesterday. Hasn’t called or show up today and is not taking messages.

He was originally supposed to start yesterday. Then said he would come today. So disappointed.

Hi Susan,
Sorry about your troubles. Please don't take this maliciously, but you may want to lower your expectations as to prevent constant disappointment by the lack of service and/or accountability on the Big Island. Plan for things to take longer, cost more and for people to lie through their teeth. Also, be very careful about letting strangers onto your property and leaving any valuables in sight if it does become necessary for them to come around.

Jim we are close to finishing the house now. It hasn’t been easy to be owner builder. After this issue Hubs just stated doing it himself again as we have done ourselves and with friends help. Just wanted to get it done before the holidays.
