2018 Hurricane Season
#11
We are pleased to announce the birth of Hurricane Bud.
He is a bit runty, and looks to NOT have a ticket to Hawai'i.
No cigars will be given out.

Was a Democrat until gun control became a knee jerk, then a Republican until the crazies took over, back to being a nonpartisan again.
This time, I can no longer participate in the primary.

OK, I’ll bite if no one else is going to...

Isn’t that a new medical MJ variety, along with “fissure eight” and “lava sativa” and “magma bandana” and “sanctum magmum”, none of which will ever come to to big island dispensaries? But perhaps to the possible new wild Wild West of lower Puna?

Will, a couple few months into the season, a hurricane be named Hurricane Pakaloko?

Or is it a Budweiser reference?

Hurricane Bud. Couldn’t it at least have been called Hurricane Buddy?

(No thread hijack intended, especially after 1v1 graciously renamed the thread, but sheesh, Hurricane Bud!?)

Cheers,
Kirt

well there is always this. More bad news as they tend to hang around longer and continue to flood everyone out like we have seen on Kauai and Oahu recently. The fun never ends around here it seems.

If this year is hard on us it will seem even harder than it should be with all the disaster already.

There's a disturbance in the east Pacific that has an 80% chance I think KITV said, that it will develop into a storm. It also is tracking in our direction according to forecast models.
