Is it just me, or does everyone wonder "What was the name of that thread that was deleted?"

Which deleted thread?

The thread about sunsets or the thread asking if someone should have the ability to delete their thread?

Those are the two most recent deleted threads.

If I knew "which deleted thread" I wouldn't be wondering. Wow, it's amazing you can remember all of the thread names. But then again, I am getting old... Undecided

Nothing amazing about it.

I posted a reply in the most recent deleted thread, so that is why I remember the subject matter.

Even though threads are deleted, one can use the search function to select a member and see every thread they have started, or every post they have made.

Some here believe that the OP of a thread should be allowed to delete an entire thread. Some others don't. You're seeing the result of OPs deleting threads which is allowed on PW.

And some here believe that Rob’s opinion is the only one that counts, because this is his house and he makes the rules and if you don’t like it you can find another forum or create your own.

And some here have even stated this many times in the past.

I'm just making an observation here. It's not a complaint. It just bugs me that I can never remember what it was that was deleted. I was just wondering if other people had the same reaction.

Sheesh.

TomK neglected to mention that one poster on here believes that if a thread is deleted by the OP that the OP should apologize to everyone who posted in that thread for wasting their time.

Right, TomK?

I agree with My Two Cents' comment. Sorry Chas if this thread is getting a bit derailed.

the OP should apologize to everyone

Delete Story
Finally, a reboot of the classic movie for the social media age.
“Delete means never having to say you’re sorry.”

How about saying you're sorry for derailment?    Tongue
