Petitions are only slightly more effective than thoughts and prayers.
Indeed, they can be incredibly powerful as they incorporate thoughts and prayer.

The intention of this statement is almost always concerned and positive but overuse has rendered it a meaningless cliche that in many situations can actually be offensive to me. How about
thinking of a more pertinent, individualized comment for the given situation?
Such as, a petition that allows signers to include a personalized statement on the matter at hand.

How about thinking of a more pertinent,
Petitions, thoughts, prayers could be effective if it’s the first action you take to address a problem. But probably not if it’s the first and last thing you do.
