I know it's not really Hawaii-related, but I have to post these two links - at least they are polynesian-related, and who cares about a half-time show anyway?

Yeah. Just a measly 135 million plus people. But who cares?

According to credible reports over 150 million people..
But isn't the question really, how many people here, in Hawaii, in Puna cared? Or, do you have no respect for Rob's wishes as well?

So 150 million people tuned in to the half-time show. Maybe the people who run these things show a puppy competition and fill it with adverts instead, and organize a really good half-time show. The data that you are presenting shows that people aren't really interested in the game. And as for Rob's wishes, why was the game brought up in the first place? HOTPE and I are having a bit of fun about different sports, but I guess the fun police have arrived.
PS. The last soccer World Cup final brought in 1.5 billion viewers.

Still waiting. For you too, Jules. If you can't listen to Rob, wtf are you doing here?

I guess I got some 'splaining to do!
I'd say quite a few right here in Hawaii AND Puna did. Or at least, should have.
When you consider Ricky Martin did a surprise performance and sang the song "Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii" ("What Happened to Hawaii") the performance highlighted concerns about gentrification and the potential U.S. Statehood of Puerto Rico, comparing it to the displacement of locals in Hawaii.
Martin sang, "They want to take my river and my beach, too. They want my neighborhood and grandma to leave," emphasizing a desire to protect Puerto Rico land unlike what happened here in Hawaii and the song cautions against Puerto Rico from becoming an official U.S. State, warning that it could lead to similar gentrification that pushed out native communities in Hawaii. Further, the scene also included a tropical backdrop where Martin sang, emphasizing the connection between the two island experiences.
So, in as much as one could argue that the NFL or its Half Time Shows rarely, if ever, have anything to do with Hawaii, this one very much did and with Martin's performance makes it pure Hawaii related.
Now, back to regularly scheduled "projection" comments by (foul mouthed) MyManao and his little wing flapping sidekick PunaTang.

Well, then, since you insist, I shall explain it again. And then you must go to bed.
The core problem is someone using a leaf blower for blowing a known carcinogen and lung and respiratory irritant that in time can cause lung cancer or other respiratory illnesses.
Further, the core problem is someone using a leaf blower to do so without any PPE.
And even more to the core problem, as randomq's very poignant, yet funny meme showed, using a leaf blower while using even overkill but proper PPE and blowing a known carcinogen and lung irritant into other people, especially children as well as into the atmosphere.
That is the core problem.
Now, question for PunaWeb Moderation along with the ad hoc "projection" moderators:
Is talking about National Politics, including the ones that directly, indirectly or even don't involve Hawaii, worse, equal to, or more acceptable to discuss versus TomK's consistent need to ask these ridiculous, childish, nonsensical, and pointless questions of meaningless minutia, that no matter what ever response that could ever be offered, would never be acceptable, thus the entire circle jerk all over again, and doing this over virtually each and every thread?
It seems to me that in as much as I respect and yet I admit, I have, from time to time, violated Rob and Moderator 2's "keep it Hawaii" policy, but it seems that all TomK is really doing here, with this constant "asking questions facade" other than the blatant attempt at rage baiting and trolling here on PunaWeb, is quite frankly just making a sheer and utter mockery of Rob's long standing "assume the best and ask questions" policy.
Pardon me, but all I really see here is TomK at each and every turn, doing the equivalent of just slapping Rob in the face. Over and over and over and over.
If there is anything MyManao and I could agree on, it is this sheer and utter disgusting, yet seemingly tolerated behavior that is the even a bigger "core problem."

So you're saying that no one should use a leaf blower.

Even though the question was answered with the caveats of:
"for blowing a known carcinogen and lung and respiratory irritant that in time can cause lung cancer or other respiratory illnesses,"
AND
"to do so without any PPE."
AND
"while using even overkill but proper PPE and blowing a known carcinogen and lung irritant into other people, especially children as well as into the atmosphere."
and the Plaintiff either desires to ignore those caveats to the answer already given numerous times, for the sole purpose of perpetrating Plaintiff's only single goal of attempting to further a pointless argument without any merit, or is completely unable to comprehend the answers given for reasons unknown, however, in the interest of jurisprudence, and an expedient end to this frivolous case, the Defense agrees to the Plaintiff's statement, and therefore, Your Honor, I rest.
