If you don’t understand what I’m saying, just ask, I’ll explain it to you.  No need to concoct conclusions out of thin air, based on nothing.

My apologies Edge.  My misunderstanding stems from your police station comment which Obie responded to.  Let it be known that I made an error and Edge is not distancing himself from his Heritage Foundation who, as the leading expert on election integrity (per Edge), has just this month, determined that Hawaii utilizes "unattended" & "unsecured" drop boxes for collecting ballots.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and your forgiveness.

The foundation equates unmonitored drop boxes to an election worker setting a completed ballot box out on a street curb entirely unsupervised, creating vulnerabilities for ballot theft, fraud, and illegal vote harvesting.

Are ballot boxes at a police station the same as an election worker placing a box full of ballots on the street curb?  That’s Heritage Foundation’s definition.

When I lived on Maui, I would often see pallets of lock boxes outside the doors of an unnamed (for security) cargo carrier in their parking lot.  One day the Loomis armed truck pulled up and loaded everything into the back.  Those boxes were full of money, transported for banks inter island by air cargo.  Then placed in a public parking lot with a fork lift for convenient pickup.

My son drove along with me occasionally and one time I pointed out the thousands upon thousands of dollars sitting there.  He didn’t believe me.  So we waited until Loomis showed up.  You could tell which boxes had coins and which had paper bills by the way the Loomis guys lifted and carried the weight of each box. My son said that was the craziest thing he ever saw.  This shipment happened regularly, I don’t believe anything was ever stolen.  Unattended? Yes.  Unsecured? You bet.

But that's fairly  normal  for Puna.

When did this happen?  There were no other officers at the police station at the time?

Well, I must say the pretzel twisting of readily verifiable factual information and reality is quite astonishing on this thread in particular. Coupled with one apparently thinking that if you say (and post) the same stuff over and over and over again, it becomes reality and the truth.

At any event, the Old Pahoa Police station was never broken into. When it was a Police Station. Nor was an officer driving by and finding the perps actively "stealing everything that wasn't bolted down."

What happened was that AFTER the old Pahoa Police Station was converted into an ad hoc County Office, an elderly lady found 2 individuals inside the building impersonating maintenance workers. The lady called police and the perps fled the scene. Police determined that computer equipment valued in excess of $200 had been stolen.

Now, one thing that is clearly fairly normal for Puna, is story embellishment!

Someone on Punaweb might imagine the storage facility was holding the 18,000 or 19,000 missing ballots someone was so keen on a month or two ago. And the two guys breaking in were Heritage Foundation investigators compiling their voter fraud data.

Funny how the story about the missing 18,000 votes also has now also gone missing?

The ignorance on this issue is astonishing and yet unsurprising.  There were never "18,000 votes....missing".  Obtain a clue and then I'm happy to discuss.

Here is a breadcrumb provided by Edge's trusted authority on election intergity: https://www.heritage.org/election-integr...ion-audits

You beat a dead animal to further death, then want to argue about names, weights, and measures, ignoring that the dead animal never existed in the first place.
Carry on.

Not really.  You call a dead horse a cow and wonder why I don't bite every time someone on PW makes a willfully ignorant comment about your cow.  Obtain a clue.

For someone that has put so much stock into so many things that have fizzled out... poof.. I'd think you would at least acknowledge you got a closet full of your own cows.. moo

All those ballots.. or was it their envelops? Was it 300 of 'em? 16,000? 19,000? 2 million? No matter we heard about it endlessly. In large type.. colored text.. and omg it was the second coming if it was anything..

And poof!

So.. maybe sprinkle a little salt brah.. or at least move 'em to da bicker board!

The break in at the police station happened before they moved to the new one in 2011.
It was unmanned but they did reports and other duties there.
