Damon Tucker set this facebook group up - many of the participants you probably already know.

It's a page that sets up garbage clean up events where dumping sites have been found - a few weeks ago it was near the top end of Puainako. New one coming to Kona I believe in a few weeks.

They have been working pretty hard to identify spots - and let property owner know if they are off island - so check them out.

We are going to have one down this way soon. From 4 corners to Pohiki.

Thanks to all who helped. A couple of people in Vacationland came out, as well as Damon Tucker, Hunter Bishop and Kevin Dayton, Starsha Young, and friends - 6 truckloads of rubbish to dump! recycleables were taken to recycling too.

The trash dump so of 4 corners near rock wall is gone. It literally only took us less than 2 hrs!

Next scheduled clean up is July 5th at Pohiki to clean up firework debris. If you are doing fireworks at Pohiki - take a broom or rake with you and clean your own up! Thanks!
