Just a wild guess but I suppose they might not have figured that out yet. You know.....with their history of leading by afterthought.
On the HPP website it looks like they are down to a band of 4 plus Francis (hasn't he been on the board forever?). Don't they all have to show up in order to have a quorum and make it a legal meeting? Does Francis want to legitimize their actions, or will he stay home?
I don't know the process of seating new board people but do you think anyone actually wants be to associated with this poorly thought out coup? So what happens if another one of them quits? No more board? No more manager? Just what sort of braniac came up with this ill-sotted leadership plan?
The weeds at the intersections are getting tall and should be cut back to protect lines of sight. Didn't the board (or the manager) just decide (perhaps illegally) to shut down the road safety committee?
In the past I could just drop in the office or call one of the nice staff who worked there and they would take care of it (tall weeds, fallen signs). But now, who do I even try talking to about legitimate concerns? The lady who will only talk to people who are nice to her? Her husband the super volunteer (who is working for free I might add, as if that really mattered) I have heard that the board is searching for a new manager, but what sort of effective manager would want to work for such a dysfunctional board that has a history of foolish shortsighted actions? And who would want to work for an irrational group of policy makers who don't bother to follow their own policies? And just might want to fire you for no reason at all?
