vine identification
#6
You have a battle on your hands, this vine will grow over or choke out any wanted foliage. Try to pull its roots, or as close to them as possible, before poisoning heavily. This vine has been hitch hiked around most of lower Puna, even see the zoo has its problems with this vine now. I first noticed it, or saw it 5-7 years ago in Opihikao. No thorns is a positive, but it will spread like a ground cover very quickly.
