Incredibly durable, high pressure, high volume and no surge to start. I used one for my home when the power went out for two weeks last year. It allowed us to get by with a small generator for the rest of the house. Those 110 volt pumps take a huge amount of power to start.
You should avoid those Home Depot pumps entirely. They don't last. If you want an AC pump, go to Sears and get a Simer pump. Very good quality for about $300 for 3/4 hp.
